A couple of developments, since our last posts.

First we have been dual streaming with Ziffy Zarf whenever we can and whenever he is available. Ziffy is an awesome harmonica/guitar player and astonishingly brilliant vocalist. You can catch his solo shows on Saturday, 4PM SL at Fogbound. Or you can catch us dual streaming with him on every other Sunday afternoon at 2 PM at Sailor’s Cove in SL (Check the calendar for details).

Last night Whirl and I opened for the legendary Cosmic Haystack and his band at Tunez in SL, its been too long since we partnered up in this way, and its good to be back!!

We also played last night at Rockin Roost and again at Good Vibe Acoustic Lounge. I have to say my fingers are tired :)) So much so, I didn’t practice this morning.

We haven’t introduced any new songs recently, because I have been concentrating on learning the next phase of fingerstyle guitar, yes I am a Noob at this, but its very challenging and very fun all at the same time.

The one thing we did do last night was I have been working on the audio system and setup a “Blumlein pair” of microphones in an attempt to add a stereo image to our sound. I couldn’t be more pleased with the initial trial, we need some tweaking, but I think overall its pretty good and want to thank Aitolda Cooljoke for this suggestion to record in Mid-Side. Because we play as a duet it really helps.
